This installer will install or update your computer with the latest version of CompuServe Mail, a PowerTalk service access module. This will enable PowerTalk to send and receive mail to other users by using the power and reach of CompuServe’s host-based mail system.

A. Requirements of this installer.
This installer requires the machine be restarted after it has finished moving all files to thier proper locations. This is done to make sure the new mail service is properly installed and recognized by the PowerTalk system.
B. What is included in this package?
This installation kit contains the following files:
1. CompuServe Mail
2. CCLs -- scripts that help CompuServe mail connect
3. Apple Modem Tool
4. Serial Tool
5. CompuServe Mail documentation.
C. What is placed in the preferences folder.
If not already present in the preferences folder, this folder will be created:
1. CompuServe
The following folder will be placed in side the CompuServe folder mentioned previously. If this folder already exists in that location, it will first be moved to the trash.

D. What is placed in the extensions folder.
The following files will be placed in the extensions folder. If older versions of these are already there, they will first be moved to the trash.

E. Where is the documentation?
The documentation for CompuServe mail will be placed in the top level folder of your startup disk. Any old version of that documentation will first be moved to the trash.
F. What is done to the PowerTalk preferences.
If a previous version of CompuServe Mail had been installed, then the information kept by PowerTalk about it will be updated to reflect the newly installed update. This will allow the mail service to be fully useable after the machine is restarted.
